Review of the Realme 5 smartphone, one of the best budget-friendly Androids as we hit 2020 thanks to its excellent battery life, flexible quad-lens camera and solid specs. Like the Moto G7 Power, Redmi Note 8 and other cheap phones, the Realme 5 offers a heck of a lot for under £200. I’ve been testing this smartphone, using it as my personal handset for the past week, and here’s my in-depth review.
This is definitely one of my favourite budget blowers of the year thanks to its smooth running, incredible battery performance and sleek design. However the Realme 5 isn’t quite perfect. I’d have rather seen a proper Full HD display, while the quad camera does stumble with low light and tricky conditions. All the same, if you have under two hundred quid to spend on a new Android, and you get on fine with the ColorOS launcher, then definitely consider this device.
